This course aims to educate participants on the prevalence of technology abuse in cases of intimate partner violence (IPV) and the challenges faced by IPV agencies in recognizing and responding to such abuse. The course teaches skills such as identifying points of compromise on devices and developing technology-specific safety plans for survivors of IPV. The teaching method involves presenting a vision for establishing community-based technology abuse clinics and sharing a toolkit based on real-world experiences. This course is intended for advocates, scholars, IPV agency staff, and other stakeholders interested in addressing technology abuse in cases of intimate partner violence.
