This course is an introduction to the basics of PHP programming. Students will go through the fundamentals such as installation of Windows, choosing a text editor, and writing HTML. Students will learn fundamental techniques such as working with strings, numbers, variables, and getting user input. More advanced techniques such as building a basic calculator, mad libs game, using checkboxes and associative arrays, classes and objects will all be covered. By the end of this course, students will understand basic concepts of the PHP language as well as how to use it to create functions and control flows. They will also be able to incorporate HTML into their PHP programs.
