The Aruba Fundamentals & Basic Solutions course is the first of eight courses in the Aruba ACSA Certification Path for Pluralsight. This course lays the foundational knowledge upon which the rest of your ACSA training, and perhaps a significant portion of your career is based. Mastering these materials will greatly ease future learning about more advanced concepts. By completing this course students will comprehend basic networking concepts like LAN, WAN, computing networks, protocols, and the OSI Model. You will be able to explain encapsulation and headers, understand how to convert numbering systems, and explain the differences between unicast, multicast, and broadcast. Gain the knowledge to explain network hierarchical models, describe network devices, and common network services in the TCP/IP section of this course. Finally, you’ll take a look at an Aruba Switch with a hands-on demonstration where you’ll learn how to describe the Aruba OS-CX operating system, discover switch information with CLI show commands, perform basic configuration tasks, and discover network status and connectivity information. Before beginning this please download the supplemental reading guide in the exercise files to learn more throughout the ACSA certification path. We also recommend purchasing the 4-hour Aruba Switching Fundamentals self-directed lab to get hands-on practice and better prepare you for exam day.
