Walk through the design, installation, and initial configuration of a System Center Configuration Manager Current Branch primary site in this course.

This is the second course of seven. In this course, SCCM Current Branch: Install, Configure, and Maintain a Primary Site, you will walk through the design, installation, and initial configuration of a System Center Configuration Manager Current Branch primary site. First, you will walk through some of the design considerations you should know before you ever start inserting DVD ISOs into disk drives. Next, you will step through the installation of your first primary site server, including the broad array of sometimes-confusing initial configurations that every site server requires during it's next, next, finish the installation. Then, you will explore how to configure support for clients and devices, as well as prepare for content and OS distribution. Finally, you will get to know administrator permissions delegation so that you can protect your assets from the wrong administrators doing potentially hazardous things. By the end of this course, you'll understand the everyday care and feeding of a primary site in production, maintaining and protecting that site as it services its clients.
