One and Two dimensional NMR Spectroscopy: Concepts and Spectral Analysis

Indian Institute of Science Bangalore and NPTEL via Swayam

This course may be unavailable.

Overview

ABOUT THE COURSE: The present course is incisive and I give deeper concepts. In addition to fundamental concepts of 1D and 2D NMR, a large number of examples of spectral analysis will be given. I also plan to cover the NMR of several nuclei, 19F, 29Si, 77Se, 199Hg, 6Li, etc. The 1D Steady State NOE, 2D Transient NOE, and number of 2D sequences will be discussed. The course is aimed to provide deeper insights into concepts of NMR and would make the participants comfortable with umpteen examples.INTENDED AUDIENCE: PG Students, Research Scholars in Chemistry, Physics, Pharmacy.PREREQUISITES: No prior requirement as I cover from basics and take the participants with me. However, MSc in Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy is preferred.INDUSTRY SUPPORT: All the Pharma Industry R and D people could be benefitted from this course.
