Performing Arts & Allied Subjects
This course 'Performing Arts & Allied Subjects' is designed to fully engage students in the study and participation of Multiple Branches of Performing arts. Students will also be introduced to history, craft of acting through the performance of improvisation, monologues, scenes and fundamental elements of Music and Dance. The fundamental elements of staging a Play (Set Design, Lighting & Sound, Costume, Make-up & Role of the Director /Producer) will be addressed. Students will explore understanding of the History of Theatre, Dance Forms & Music.
The course will be 3 credits and be cover in 8 weeks.
Course Objectives
1. Apply different approaches in making teaching learning process effective and interesting.
2. To give a base in Dance, Music and Theatre and composite sense of Art.
3. To enable recognition and growth opportunities in field of Dance/Music/Theatre
