Overview
This course explores the intersection of game theory and ransomware to provide participants with a nuanced understanding of whether to pay the ransom or not. By applying game theory concepts such as rational decision-making, zero-sum games, incentives, utility, and Nash Equilibrium, participants will develop skills in analyzing security problems. The teaching method involves using the scenario of ransomware to introduce these game theory tools, encouraging incentive-driven thinking. The course is intended for individuals interested in cybersecurity, game theory, and decision-making processes in conflict situations.
