Overview
This course covers membrane transport mechanisms in cell biology, including simple diffusion, facilitated diffusion, primary and secondary active transport, pinocytosis, phagocytosis, receptor-mediated endocytosis, and exocytosis. The learning outcomes include understanding the physiology of these processes. The course teaches skills related to cellular transport mechanisms. The teaching method is through a lecture format. The intended audience for this course includes students and professionals interested in cell biology and membrane transport mechanisms.
