Overview

This course covers network technologies, installation, configuration, media, topologies, management, and security. By the end of the course, learners will be able to distinguish between different types of networks, identify features of VPN and VLAN, implement appropriate wiring standards, categorize WAN and LAN technology types, implement a basic wireless network, and recognize basic network attack types. The course teaches skills such as understanding OSI and TCP/IP models, IP addressing, routing, switching, protocols, DNS, troubleshooting, and virtual networking. The teaching method is self-paced online learning. The course is intended for individuals interested in networking, cabling, and systems administration, with no prior experience required.
