Overview
This course focuses on teaching learners how to correctly size and scale Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (OCVS) clusters. By the end of the course, students will be able to differentiate OCVS vSAN-based environments from traditional on-premises software-defined data center solutions in terms of scaling and sizing. They will understand the factors that determine OCVS's capacity and performance and how these factors impact various workloads hosted on OCVS, such as databases, Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solutions, and general-purpose virtual machines. The course employs a case-based approach to demonstrate sizing and scaling for different workload types. The intended audience for this course includes individuals interested in Oracle Cloud VMware Solution and cloud infrastructure management.
