Overview
This course covers topics in thermodynamics related to chemical and phase equilibria, stability, fugacity of pure liquids and solids, thermodynamics of multicomponent mixtures, Gibbs energy, and chemical reaction equilibrium. Students will learn about excess Gibbs free energy, activity coefficients, and the thermodynamics of mixtures. The teaching method involves theoretical explanations and practical applications using MATLAB. This course is intended for students studying advanced topics in thermodynamics.
