Overview
This degree aims to bring you the latest thinking and up-to-date methods for AI technologies to create revenue and generate business opportunities. You’ll get an opportunity to gain an internationally recognised business qualification widely regarded as essential for managerial positions in a world characterised by strong global competition and continuous change.
You’ll be taught by highly qualified academics from a variety of backgrounds, including AI, law enforcement, accounting, business and commerce, with practical experience in the industry.
Syllabus
A student who successfully completes the degree will have achieved the following learning outcomes.
- Demonstrate an appreciation of the social, political, economic and environmental impact of an enterprise and the need to develop ethical and responsible management practices.
- Act in a culturally sensitive manner towards all of an enterprise’s stakeholders through having an understanding of the interconnected global nature of business.
- Demonstrate reflective practice for the development, and achievement, of personal career goals.
- Critically assess the basis of an enterprise’s value creating activities and the impact of the external environment on value creation.
- Critically assess the manager’s role in ensuring that an enterprise creates sustainable value in the context of dynamic internal and external environments.
- Demonstrate the ability to think strategically and explore potential solutions to complex and ambiguous problems.
- Explore, critically evaluate and apply a range of sector/role specific models and concepts within a practice setting.
- Formulate potential solutions to complex and ambiguous problems whilst acknowledging the risks and evaluating potential outcomes.
- Initiate and lead a sector/role specific change management project.

What is your financial statement trying to tell you?
Every business maintains financial records that help us to understand how well it’s doing. In this course, you’ll learn how to read them.
You’ll explore a range of financial statements - focusing on income statements, statements of financial position and cash flow statements. You’ll also investigate the different branches of accounting and learn to identify who else in the business uses this accounting information.
What do these statements contain? What do they reveal? Who makes use of them? This course will help you to answer these questions.

Is artificial intelligence a reality or just marketing hype?
On this two-week course, you will have the opportunity to explore artificial intelligence, how it’s perceived today and the differences between the hype, marketing and reality of AI.
