Participants provide input through surveys or questionnaires, and the process is iterative, with facilitators summarizing and redistributing feedback until a convergence of opinions is reached. Widely used in various fields, the Delphi Method facilitates informed decision-making in situations where predicting future trends or outcomes is challenging

The Delphi Method

Welcome to the Delphi Method Course! At this point in the MBA program, we focus on strategic foresight as a function that integrates with all the organization's other roles.
This course will:
Discuss the way Delphi Method supports strategic foresight.
Present the method, its prescriptions, recommendations, and how we can apply it.
Drive you to build an entire case of the method used on an actual project.
Provide link opportunities to connect the method to the other functions of an organization, especially the strategy-wise ones.
The course is practice-oriented and designed to guide you to learn, link the concepts, and apply the learning topics to develop a final project that resembles a real-life foresight project.

MODULE 1: In this first module, we focus on the method, its basics, and in what context it is effective.

Applying Delphi Method

In this module, we'll discuss a framework for applying the Delphi method in strategic foresight projects.

Final Project I

We start the Delphi Method course third week with the first part of the instructional package to develop the Final Project.
In this module, we'll review the framework steps by going deeper into the recommendations and exploring the typical issues of each step.

Final Project II

In Module 4 (week 4), our focus continues on the final project development. We go through additional discussions that may be helpful.
In Module 3, the steps discussed were 1 to 7.
This week we'll further discuss steps 8 to 14.
