Syllabus

  • "Client-Ready" Visuals
    • In this module you will become re-acquainted with your team's Divvy project. You'll continue preparing "Client-Ready" visuals, reviewing all of the materials that you have thus far and engaging in robust discussion with your fellow learners.
  • Refining Execution of Visualizations
    • This module reintroduces the concepts of “The Ask Behind The Ask,” and stresses the importance of making your data visualizations “Client Ready.” You will learn the concept of refined execution, closing the module with a talk from Val Aniceto discussing the subject.
  • Presenting Information
    • This module is all about presenting. Taking the visuals you produced in the previous weeks, you will build a presentation to showcase your data story. In support of this, you’ll consider advanced techniques for structuring your story and determining the audience.
  • Dashboards
    • In this module, you'll cover both the simple and complicated aspects of dashboards. We focus on wrapping up the Divvy project and ensure that the executive team have a dashboard that can continue to deliver the same data story you intended from the outset.
