This is part of the Genomic Data Science specialization program that Johns Hopkins University is offering. So far I have taken 5 of the 8 courses, and I consider Command Line Tools to be the worst of the lot. To complete homework assignments you need to download and configure a Centos6 environment using VMBox (be sure you have 64-bit capability). Aside from very poor instructions on this, part of this requires you to use a bit torrent downloader, and you are left to your own devices to figure out what bit torrent software might be safe to use. In fact, you are pretty much left to your own resources, and your fellow students, for everything because there was never any active support from staff. Course instruction was uninteresting, tedious, and, like I mentioned, uninvolved. Avoid it.
