Excellent course - very informative, well paced, and very applicable to current issues in design and computers. It was also wisely structured: The class offered two tracks- a lecture and quiz based one for novices, and a more involved project based track for more experienced students. Being a novice without the resources to complete the projects, I was very happy to be able to be able to learn the fundamentals and evaluate my progress with quizzes. Scott Klemmer was also a very good instructor - never boring and clear in all he explained. Very glad I took this class! -

It's a excellent course, with a lot o material, reading tips, and well explain information.
The only reason why I won't assign it 5 stars is because it's to fast pace. To the point it becomes difficult to follow up. The videos are rushed, with too much information in a short amount of time. It's really hard to assimilate all of it the few course weeks.
And to do all assignments in the time available is near impossible, except if you don't do anything else but study. -

I guess I'm the odd man out here.
Of the 35 MOOCs that I;ve completed, this was the worst
The peer grading website was terrible. -
Thomson Muriyadan completed this course, spending 3 hours a week on it and found the course difficulty to be medium.
A very good introduction to the basics of interaction design and how everything around us offers some level of interaction that designers are responsible for. The assignments were very useful and made me get out of my comfort zone of always doing research from the desk. The last segment introduces the most practical set of tools which has really helped me with my work.
The instruction was very clear and well paced. It was easy to pick up concepts and adequate examples and references were provided throughout the course. -

I took only "User experience: research & prototyping" course from the lot. Must tell you, it did validated all my UX knowledge and was helpful in pre-thinking perspective. No doubt an absolutely good course. -
