Well one of the things that stood out for me is the 7 myths of fundraising where I have been a culprit if majority.A donor is a person not an ATM machine so as you approach them you need to do it systemically, step by step understanding the person of the donor and how he/she is linked to your organization values and beliefs.
In addition sometimes some donors may not necessarily need to know all the details of what their money is going to do so that you can have Unrestricted Funding for the organization unless they probe.

A must take course because you get to learn what no teacher or lecturer ever tells you in class. Very practical too because it uses experience learning where someone can actually try out the techniques presented during learning. Highly recommended for all practitioners.

I found the course very informative yet presented in a very simple manner to understand.
I also found the steps very easy to follow. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to get a basic understanding of fundraising in an organised way.
The 7 myths about fundraising was inspiring. Now I realized that fundraising was not about knowing the rich and also it's not all about cash.. there are possible donors all around us, time, space are also important. I learnt alot. Thanks
