Migration Immersion Day (Includes Labs)

Migration Immersion Day is an initiative that emulates an on-premise environment which allows customers to perform a migration to AWS. The migration flow is aligned with Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) best practices and includes steps from the Assessment, Mobilize and Migrate & Modernize phases.

• Understand the tools, functionality, and benefits of various AWS Migration tools and services
• Learn how to plan, perform and track migrations using AWS Migration Hub
• Discover servers and applications using AWS Application Discovery Service (ADS)
• Group servers as applications using AWS Migration Hub
• Migrate and modernize servers with AWS Application Migration Service (MGN)
• Migrate to managed databases with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)
• Create a TCO analysis using AWS APN Migration Portfolio Assessment (MPA) tool (AWS Partners only)

Prerequisites

We recommend that attendees of this course have:

A minimum of 1 year of Cloud migration, administration, and architecture experience
