Build Quick & Easy Websites with Canva

via Skillshare

Overview

Fact: today virtually anybody who has a business needs a website. It doesn't matter if you have a big business or a small business. Websites have become a must have for every business.

The good news is that it has become easier than ever to create websites. And cheaper than ever too!

In this course we are going to build your very own website with Canva! You'll see how easy it is to come up with a simple website or landing page that helps you promote your business or that new project you are working on.

This class is for everybody who needs a website right now!

You won't spend any money on hosting, on buying themes, on subscriptions to website builders, none of that... we'll do it all with Canva!

Anybody can do it.

I, Ronny, will be your host for this course.

A bit about me if you don't know me:

I work at Canva as the Head of Communities and have been creating courses about Canva for over 2 years now. I run 4 Facebook groups for Canva + my own community together with Diana. All of these are, of course, about Canva and how to become a better designer with Canva.

The objective of this class is to show you that, with Canva, EVERYBODY can now create a website in a matter of hours.

We'll use a very concrete example of a project we needed to promote - The RonDi Bootcamp - and show you step by step how we used Canva to build a website that was perfectly fine for this job.

______________

Class Outline:

  1. Ronny will start by helping you organize your website project
I'll go over some of the important decision you'll need to make at the beginning of your website project and we'll decide on the different pages that need to be created.

  2. We'll start designing the homepage of your site
We will spend some times designing the first page people will see when they land on your Canva website.

  3. We will continue with the core of you website: your offer
This section of the course is the actual designing of the pages that constitute your offer, or the details of the project you are trying to promote with your website

  4. Designing your Call to Action
Of course the last section of your site should tell people exactly what to do to subscribe to your offer, buy your product or service, or take that one specific action that you want them to take.
  5. Exporting your Website and Testing it
That will be the last part of this class: I'll show you how to publish your website online and we'll explore how it looks both on mobile and on desktop.

Now is a good time to sit in your favourite chair and start the class!

Oh! and if you'd like to take some classes in Spanish, I suggest you check out Diana's Skillshare profile: https://www.skillshare.com/user/dianamunoz
