Welcome to my Skillshare class about gouache for beginners!
Gouache is a very versatile medium that can be used in different ways to achieve different styles, so in this class we will practice painting with gouache to gain a better understanding of this medium and to get more familiar with it! Â
In this class that I recommend for beginners and who is new to gouache but anyone can join, I will share the most important features to know about gouache.
I will go through to the art supplies suitable to use with gouache: what kind of paint brushes, watercolour papers and which colours to choose to get started with gouache.Â
Then we will do different exercises to practice mixing, flat washes, blending and layering. To get more familiar with the paint consistency and to help you gain a better understating of the medium!
With a final exercise where we’re going to paint together a playful illustration with some vegetables and fruit, to try different painting techniques and see the different styles you can achieve with gouache!Â
