About the Course:This course gives you an overview of what memory is and the role of Yoga in enhancing memory toward total personality development. The three main stages of memory are encoding, storage and retrieval. The three main forms of memory storage are sensory memory, short-term memory, and long-term memory. The eastern and western perspectives of memory will be discussed. Integrated approach of yoga practices for memory development will be presented. We will also cover scientific studies on Yoga and memory.Intended Audience:Both higher secondary and UG students study yoga or any other courses.
