Overview
This course on Bushfire Hydrology aims to educate participants on the impacts of bushfires on catchment hydrology and aquatic fauna. Participants will learn about adjusting parameters in hydrologic and hydraulic models, designing hydraulic structures for increased resilience to bushfire impacts, and understanding the effects of bushfires on in-stream fauna. The teaching method includes expert presentations, historical event analysis, and lab studies. This course is intended for individuals interested in water management, environmental science, and climate change adaptation.
