Overview
This course covers the learning outcomes and goals of understanding Diabetes Mellitus, its types, and complications. Students will learn about the different types of Diabetes Mellitus, including Type I, Type II, MODY, LADA, gestational Diabetes Mellitus, and secondary Diabetes Mellitus. The course also delves into the complications of Diabetes Mellitus, both macrovascular (such as coronary artery disease and peripheral artery disease) and microvascular (including diabetic nephropathy and retinopathy).
