Overview
This course covers the geology of the Eocene period in the North Cascades region. By the end of the course, learners will understand the characteristics of Challis Magmas, their age patterns, sampling locations, and their connection to the Cascadia Slab. The course teaches about the differences between Challis Magmas and Arc Magmas, as well as the factors that caused the Challis Magmas to form. The teaching method includes lectures, slides, posters, and a Q&A session. This course is intended for individuals interested in geology, specifically the Eocene period and the North Cascades region.
