FreeCAD - The Complete Beginners Guide to Part Design

via YouTube

Overview

This course provides an introduction to Part Design in the 3D modeling software, Solidworks. Students will learn about settings and user interface, sketches, constraints, and relations. Through demonstrations on pad (AKA extrude), revolve, lofting, sweeping, helical features, inserting primitives, subtractive features, and fillets and chamfers, students will be able to create 3D models. Students will then learn how to create multi-body models through the use of shape binder, clone body, and measure tools; as well as linear, polar, and MultiTransform Pattern Features. Rounding out the course is an introduction to Boolean functions in Part Design and a funny rant and outro.
