The Nervous System

This course will cover Ethiopian Grade 10 Biology topics such as Human Biology and Health, the Central Nervous System, Drug Abuse, Alcohol, Khat, Sense Organs, the Retina, the Ear, the Sense of Balance and Movement, the Skin as a Sense Organ, the Endocrine Glands, Adrenaline, the Gonads, and the Menstrual Cycle. Students will gain an understanding of the Biological concepts central to maintaining health and well-being. The course explores the functioning of the human body and the effects of drugs and alcohol on the body's systems. Students will also touch on the role of the Sense Organs. Students will understand the biological systems underlying the functions of the Endocrine System and the different hormones it produces. They will gain knowledge on the effects of Adrenaline, the Gonadal Hormones, and the role of the Menstrual Cycle.
