Overview
This course covers the following learning outcomes and goals: understanding emerging and zoonotic diseases, translating complex concepts for the average person, identifying ways of infection transmission, recognizing the CDC's role in combating zoonotic diseases, addressing challenges during pandemics, preparing for future pandemics, developing diagnostic technologies, identifying emerging threats, prioritizing threats, and utilizing national infrastructure. The course teaches skills such as disease awareness, infection prevention, pandemic response planning, and utilizing diagnostic technologies.
