This course aims to help engineers understand the importance of observability in cloud native organizations. By learning how to install and use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, Opentracing, and Micrometer, participants will be able to monitor live production Kubernetes clusters, instrument example applications, analyze transactions, troubleshoot issues, and build alerts. The teaching method involves hands-on practice with installing and using these tools. This course is intended for engineers who are transitioning to cloud native environments and want to enhance their understanding of observability practices.
