Overview
This course aims to help caregivers and family members better cope with caregiver stress by providing an overview of caregiver burden, factors affecting stress, coping strategies, and available resources. The course covers topics such as behavior problems, medication management, advanced decision making, emotions, advance care directives, and transition issues. The teaching method involves a lecture format by an expert in geriatric psychology. This course is intended for individuals who are caregivers or family members of those in need of care.
