- 2 Fold the diagonals
- 3 Fold in half horizontally and vertically
- 4 Make a square base
- 5 Fold one flap up and down Repeat behind
- 6 Unfold completely
- 7 Extend an existing crease
- 8 Fold the bottom corner up
- 9 The crease hits the edge at the same place as the last crease
- 10 Refold the bird base
- 11 Fold along the existing crease
- 12 Squash-fold the corner
- 13 Fold the top flaps downward while folding the blunt interior flap underneath
- 14 Divide each flap into thirds
- 15 Reverse fold on existing creases
- 16 Fold and unfold
- 17 Repeat on the right flap
