Troubleshooting Cisco Networks: IPv6 Routing Protocols for CCNP R&S 300-135 TSHOOT

via Pluralsight

Overview

In this course, you will learn how to troubleshoot the two most popular IPv6 routing protocols: EIGRPv6 and OSPFv3, as well as redistribution with BGP.

Don't let the slow-but-steady growth of IPv6 sneak up on you! This course, Troubleshooting Cisco Networks: IPv6 Routing Protocols for CCNP R&S 300-135 TSHOOT, focuses on the quirks of IPv6, the differences between IPv6 and IPv4, and how those differences mandated new routing protocols. This course is not an IPv6 rehash of IPv4 routing concepts, but rather a troubleshooting lesson on IPv6 that uses EIGRPv6, OSPFv3, and BGP to place IPv6 in a practical context. First, you're going to solve ten different troubleshooting tickets covering complex IPv6 routing problems involving BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and redistribution. Next, you'll learn about layer 2 issues and IPv6 neighbor discovery. Finally, you'll be learning about traffic filtering. This is the third course in a six-course series designed to prepare you for the Cisco CCNP TSHOOT exam, Troubleshooting and Maintaining Cisco IP Networks, which is part of the CCNP Routing and Switching track. By the end of this course, you'll have the confidence to approach ANY IPv6 routing or redistribution problem. No matter how complex the problem or the topology, you'll be able to determine where to start, how to narrow down the problem to a layer, and even how to figure out what specific technology is causing it.
