What does it take to draw an alluring female head that exudes feminine appeal?

In this lesson you'll learn how to construct the female head from front, side and three quarter views, beginning with a strong foundation for each. This basic structure helps will help to ensure the success of your female portraits by establishing their size, placement and proportions. 

From there we'll focus on each view point of the female head individually as we drawing in the facial features and the basic shape for their hair style. We'll refine the drawing as we go, articulating each aspect of the female head with greater levels of refinement through the use of line weights and rendering.

You'll learn how much detail to include and where to put it for maximum impact when it comes to shading the female head. I'll explain why less rendering is often more when describing the subtle forms of the female face, and how the shape and structure of the head can be tweaked to incorporate greater feminine appeal. 

We'll dive in depth to my approach for styling hair and effectively rendering it to convey shape, volume, mass and texture. 

After watching this lesson, you'll know how to establish a solid foundation for your female heads, how to place their facial features, establish an eye catching hair style and how to effectively shade them to describe the subtle forms, materials and textures that make them look believable.
