This course explores the life and death of high mass stars in astronomy. By the end of the course, learners will understand the main sequence, red giant stage, transition of super massive stars, and the final moments of high mass stars. The course teaches about the model for stars greater than 8 times the mass of the Sun, the significance of iron in stars, and the characteristics of type 2 supernovae. The teaching method involves a series of 12 lectures covering various stages of a high mass star's life cycle.
