Overview
This course aims to provide individuals with diabetes and their families with cooking ideas for tasty dishes that are fun to eat and lower in carbs. Participants will learn how to prepare a Roasted Apple Salad, Horseradish-Encrusted Beef Tenderloin, Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies, and a Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free Carrot Cake. The teaching method involves a cooking demonstration led by a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and a Cooking Enthusiast. The intended audience for this course is adults with diabetes and their families who are interested in exploring healthier cooking options.
