Overview
This course covers the basics of drugs and medications, including understanding what drugs are, how to read prescriptions, identifying active and inactive ingredients, recognizing drug allergies, and understanding drug interactions. Students will learn about medication errors, drug elimination routes, factors affecting drug activity, and FDA approval processes. The teaching method includes lectures and discussions led by a nephrologist. This course is intended for individuals interested in gaining knowledge about drugs and medications.
