Overview
This course aims to explore the recent changes in East Antarctic glaciers, particularly focusing on a group of glaciers near the Totten Glacier showing signs of acceleration. Participants will learn about the observational changes, ITS Live Project, Landsat 8 data, elevation changes, drawdown signals, ice shelves, and data analysis related to the topic. The teaching method involves presentations by researchers sharing new findings and discussing the causes behind the glacier changes. This course is intended for individuals interested in climate change, glaciology, remote sensing, and environmental science.
