This course is an introduction to the periodic classification of elements in Grade 9 Chemistry. It covers topics such as nuclear charge, atomic size, ionization energy and elements across a period. It also includes an introduction to the modern periodic table and advantages to using the periodic classification. Concepts covered in this course will all be tied to the development of an understanding of periodic trends and properties of elements.
