Overview
This course explores groundwater governance, policy, and regulation in the Arab World. The learning outcomes include understanding the challenges of groundwater over-abstraction, exploring regulatory frameworks in the Arab World, and identifying limitations to effective policy implementation. The course teaches about different modalities of state intervention, policy tools developed by the state, and community systems. The teaching method is through a webinar format. The intended audience includes policy-makers, managers, academics, and individuals interested in water resource management in the Arab World.
