Overview

- Associative Property. - Distributive Property. - Boolean Algebraic simplifications with Multiplication and Addition. - This course provides an introduction to binary numbers and logic gates. Students learn how to use transistors and LEDs to create a buffer gate, and how to use the NOT gate with truth tables. Students also learn how to use two transistors in series to create an AND gate, and two transistors in parallel to create an OR gate. Additionally, students learn to draw block diagrams, identify terms such as product terms, sum terms, literals, variables, minterms, and maxterms, and understand the rules of Boolean algebra, along with the properties of commutative, associative and distributive. Finally, students learn to simplify Boolean algebraic equations involving addition and multiplication.
