This course aims to remove the stigma surrounding discussing suicide and mental health by sharing the story of a beloved high school principal's unexpected suicide. The learning outcomes include promoting social and cultural changes related to suicide awareness, concussions, CTE, opioid addictions, privacy laws, and mental health. The course teaches skills such as recognizing signs of mental health struggles, asking for help, and advocating for social change. The teaching method involves storytelling and personal narrative to engage the audience emotionally and intellectually. The intended audience includes individuals interested in mental health advocacy, suicide prevention, and social change initiatives.
