Overview
This course aims to educate learners on the security implications of maritime Very Small Aperture Terminals (VSAT) communications. By the end of the course, students will understand the vulnerabilities of maritime VSAT networks and the practical attacks that can be carried out against them. The course covers topics such as the extraction of IP traffic from corrupted VSAT data streams, analysis of real-world maritime VSAT recordings, and the interception and alteration of sensitive data transmitted over VSAT networks. The teaching method includes a mix of theoretical concepts, case studies, and practical demonstrations. This course is intended for individuals interested in cybersecurity, maritime operations, network security, and encryption in VSAT environments.
