The course covers the learning outcomes and goals of understanding finite-dimensional DG algebras and categories of perfect complexes over such algebras. Students will learn about the basic properties of noncommutative schemes and the connection between these categories and DG categories with (semi)exceptional collections. The teaching method involves a lecture by Dmitri Orlov from the Steklov Mathematical Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow. The intended audience for this course includes individuals interested in advanced topics in algebra and category theory.
