This course explores the intricacies of various high security locks, focusing on the popular Mul-T-Lock brand. Students will be able to pick, gut, and disassemble classic Euro profile cylinders, cylinder locks, pin-in-pin locks, Euro profile cylinders, and cam locks. Each lesson has students working with their locks to discover their inner workings, with the goal of opening them with a minimum of force. Along the way, the course also covers "Maximum Security" locksmith challenges and the era professional padlock. For those with an interest, Mul-T-Lock clones, defective Interactive blind locks, and Junior mortise cylinders can be picked and gutted as well.
