The Gestalt Principles - Basics for Beginners

This course introduces learners to the Gestalt Principles, a set of hypotheses developed by German Psychologists in the 1920s. The course explains how these principles define that 'the whole is something else than the sum of its parts' and explores how design elements' relationships are perceived by the human mind. By the end of the course, students will understand the basics of Gestalt Principles, including Continuation, Closure, Similarity, Proximity, Symmetry, and Figure and Ground.
