Women in STEM

This course aims to inspire and empower individuals, especially women and underrepresented minorities, to pursue careers in STEM fields. The learning outcomes include understanding the challenges faced by women in STEM, gaining insights into the experiences of a successful woman in the field, and being motivated to break barriers and pursue one's passion in STEM. The course teaches skills such as perseverance, leadership, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and advocacy for underrepresented groups. The teaching method involves a TEDx talk format, combining storytelling, personal experiences, and inspirational messages. The intended audience for this course is individuals interested in STEM careers, particularly women and underrepresented minorities seeking motivation and guidance to overcome obstacles and succeed in the field.
