This course aims to teach bioinformatics analysis using Biopython. By the end of the course, learners will be able to perform tasks such as accessing NCBI databases, running BLAST queries, analyzing COVID-19 genome sequences, visualizing 3D proteins, handling sequence motif objects, and plotting sequence lengths and GC content. The course teaches skills such as pairwise sequence alignment, sorting big FASTA/FASTQ files, and filtering FASTQ files by PHRED quality scores.
