Nanodegrees are a microcredential created by Udacity and focused on in-demand skills. Nanodegrees consist of video courses and projects that are graded by humans. To earn a Nanodegree microcredential students need to complete the required projects. Nanodegrees allow you to re-submit projects multiple times if necessary, until you pass the assessment.

Nanodegrees range in duration from a few months to half a year. Students can move as fast as they want, but Udacity recommends that students don’t rush too much, as the knowledge is retained better when more time is taken to learn. Check the Udacity Help Center if you need more time to finish your Nanodegree.

A limited number of scholarships are available for some Nanodegrees. Class Central is a search engine for online courses and is not involved in scholarships or the application process.

Class Central's Help Center represents our best effort to answer the most common questions new learners face. It may not be completely accurate in every circumstance.
